We are currently experiencing an issue affecting one of our interconnects with one of our whole broadband carriers. This is causing unstable connectivity on some broadband services. The issue was detected

Wednesday 17/12/2025  08:10:00 - 09:10:00

We have taken the faulty interconnect out of service pending maintenance and services should automatically attempt to reconnect via the remaining interconnects.

If your router has not reconnected automatically, please try restarting it and waiting 2 minutes for it to reconnect. If your connection is still down, please contact the Support Team on 0345 257 1335 or e-mail at support@cerberusnetworks.co.uk.

The fault has been traced a fault with an interface card on the supplier's equipment. This is being repaired now.
When the system is restored, we will re-activate the disused interconnect and services will begin using it as they refresh their PPP sessions.

The supplier replaced the faulty card on their equipment last night and, after testing, we re-instated the interconnect at 03:00 this morning. We moved a small number of sessions back to the interconnect and they are observed to be stable. We will continue to closely monitor the services for the next 72 hours.
