13 Cerberus Refund Policy
Thank you for choosing to purchase from doing business with Cerberus Networks. Whilst the majority of transactions go smoothly, we know that sometimes things go wrong. . If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to help.
13.1 Right to Cancel
If you are a consumer (i.e. an individual buying for yourself rather than a business) then you have the right to cancel within 7 days of contract with us, or if ordering physical goods then within 7 days of receipt of those goods, whichever is the longer. Consumers ordering broadband services have 14 days within which it is possible to cancel without penalty. This is called the ‘cooling-off period’. These rights to cancel do not apply to businesses.
Please note that where we are supplying a service and you have asked for the service to start before the end of the cooling-off period, you will not able to cancel just because you have changed your mind.
13.2 Faulty Goods
If you find that your goods are faulty on arrival, then you are entitled to a repair, replacement or a refund. For some goods it may be disproportionately costly to repair those goods, and so where this is the case, then we will give you a replacement or a refund. Please contact Cerberus via email at email@example.com to request an RMA number, stating the reason for your return. When you return your item, you must send us a copy of the receipt or proof of purchase with the RMA number.
13.3 Returns (Equipment)
If you are a consumer (i.e. an individual buying for yourself rather than a business) and bought a physical item from the Cerberus Online store (for instance router, switch firewall) and have changed your mind, you have 14 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. If you are a business this right does not apply.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
Please contact Cerberus via email at to request an RMA number, stating the reason for your return. When you return your item, you must send us a copy of the receipt or proof of purchase with the RMA number.

If you are a consumer (i.e. an individual buying for yourself rather than a business) and have bought software from us and want to return it under the distance selling regulations then you can return it provided that it’s unopened and in original packaging.
We are unable to accept returns of software if the packaging has been opened as this could result in a breach of the Copyright, Designs and Patent Act (CDPA) 1988. Opened software is exempt from return under the terms of the Distance Selling Regulations (SI2334/2000)
We will check your returned item when we receive it and will notify you that we have received it. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment. Depending on your card issuer's policies, you will normally receive the credit within 7 days.
You are responsible for paying the shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If we arrange collection of non-faulty goods and you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
If you are returning something to us it is important that it is packaged correctly so that it does not get damaged during transit. We recommend that you send us the item in its original packaging (assuming that you still have it).
Where it is not possible to use the original packaging, please ensure that the goods are sufficiently packaged and cushioned to avoid them being damaged during carriage, handling or sorting.
Please note that a product’s immediate retail packaging or wrapper is often not intended to be the only packaging used when shipping. For instance if we originally shipped you a boxed item inside another larger box with additional packaging material (bubble-wrap, foam etc.) then you should employ similar measures when packaging your item for return to us. If in any doubt please contact us.
Where we have agreed to collect the goods from you, our appointed carrier shall be entitled to inspect the quantity, condition and the packaging.
