Setting up Communicator for MyCloud OCS 2007 R2

Downloading the application from the Control Panel

1.    Go to https://cp.ecloudserv.net and login with the credentials provided by Cerberus
2.    Click on Service – Software Downloads and download required application.

3.   Once the installer has downloaded, double click the installer file to run it. When you see the security warning, Click Run to continue.

The installer is a self-extracting archive. This means that will extract the files from a compressed form into a folder, from where you can run the actual setup file.

4.   The Self-Extractor will prompt for a location to unzip the files to. Click Browse to select a location.

5. Choose your Documents folder and click OK.

Now close the Self-Extractor and go to your My Document folder. You will find the Communicator.msi file. Double-click this to continue.

Installing Office Communicator

1.    Run Office Communicator EXE file downloaded from the Control Panel already.


2.    Accept license terms and click Next

3.    Select the alternate installation path or leave it default and click Next

4.    Click on Finish.

Configuring Office Communicator

1.    Open Office Communicator 2007 and click on options


2.    Type your e-mail ID and click Advance


3.    Select Manual and configure yje External server name as

sip.ecloudserv.net:443

and click OK

4.    And Sign In now with your e-mail address and provide your login credentials when prompt.
